The Grays Harbor Energy Center is a 620 MW natural gas-fueled combined-cycle power generation facility located approximately 30 miles west of Olympia in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The facility began commercial operations in May 2008 and delivers reliable, dispatchable electricity to the Pacific Northwest region.

Facility Overview

The facility consists of two GE Frame 7FA combustion turbines and one GE steam turbine generator operating in combined-cycle mode with duct firing. Natural gas is supplied via the Northwest Pipeline, and the plant occupies approximately 20 acres within the Satsop Redevelopment Park.

Grays Harbor Energy LLC operates as a subsidiary of Invenergy, North America's largest privately held independent power producer and energy infrastructure innovator. Headquartered in Chicago, Invenergy and its affiliates have developed over 232 projects totaling more than 38 gigawatts across four continents.
